SERVICES

Matrimonial

We provide matrimonial services, including Islamic marriage ceremonies, couples counseling, and Islamic divorce services. We require that all changes in marital status occur in compliance with state regulations.

To conduct an Islamic marriage ceremony we require:

A valid marriage license or marriage certificate from the county of San Francisco
Valid forms of identification (passport, state ID, or drivers? license) from both parties
Two Muslim witnesses (we do not provide witnesses)

We consider a ruling from a State Court as a valid Islamic divorce according to Sharia. In order to issue an Islamic divorce certificate, the official court ruling of divorce must be presented by at least one of the spouses. Witnesses are recommended, but are not necessary unless required by a foreign government.

Estate Planning

We are committed to providing quality service and guidance to all Muslims in performing the religious duties leading up to and during an Islamic burial.

If you are interested in making stipulations regarding your estate, you can download a sample Islamic Will. As inheritance laws are enforced by the state, we strongly recommend that you contact a lawyer before filing an official last will and testament.

We have submitted an application to the state to become a full-service funeral home. Our objective is to provide a state of the art facility that meets all legal and Islamic requirements. More information will be provided in the near future.
